I was amazed at how nice the architects and interior designers of Bambu Estate have planned and decorated the model houses. The outside of the model houses are also nice, of course. The design really lived up to it's name. Want to see how they decorated the interior? Read on... My first impression when I first saw the model houses was something like.. hmm.. nice design, just like in the brochures and house perspective photos. But when I went inside to check them out, I was surprised and immediately thought, is this the same house? Everything inside the model houses is strategically located to create the impression of bigger space. Of course the goal was to give the prospective home buyers an idea on how they can also make smaller spaces look a tad bit bigger. Yes, it's possible :) They have fully furnished the model houses at Bambu Estate, namely: Yumi house and Hana house. Ahhh... I'm a big fan of interior designing and I just couldn't help but admire the genious behind this house model's design. Why, you ask? First of all. Aesthetics. Everything goes well together. I adore the lighting here as well. And mirrors, mirrors, mirrors... See how the mirror on the right side of the house reflects the left side? Makes you think there's more there when there's actually none. My Tip: When you want to use a mirror to make a small space look bigger, make sure that the mirror is reflecting something beautiful or at least something that emits light or is bright (open windows are great!) Beautiful, right? Mirrors are always good, especially when you are trying to make a small space look a lot bigger. Believe me, this works. I've done this in my own house :) Look at how big this room looks. Brilliant interior design. From the wooden wall with vertical lines to the colors used. And again, mirrors. Perfect for your children, if you have any. Look at how there's a platform under the beds See how the headboard is plastered against the wall? No need to have 2 headboards for each of the beds. The windows give you the impression of wider space, too. Even the curtains are space saving without having to compromise the design. Yeah? Nice bathroom fixtures. I love the brown against the white.
